Evidence grows of problem of Clergy Burnout

6-28-2010 Supreme Court Limits Religious Freedom for Christian Clubs on Campus

By a vote of 5-4, the Supreme Court today upheld a California law school’s denial of official recognition of a Christian student group. The Christian Legal Society (CLS) refused to agree to let non-Christians to become voting members or leaders.  This decision significantly damages the constitutional rights of religious organizations.  The American Center for Law Justice represented more than a dozen Christian leaders and organizations active on college and university campuses – including Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Campus Crusade for Christ, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Young Life, the Navigators, and the Fellowship of Catholic University Students.

Imagine starting a Republicans club and being told that you had to let Democrats join and hold office.  Imagine forming a Christian club and being told that you had to let Satanist join and hold office.  What are these people thinking?  Communism here we come. [1]
